H.W. Kaufman Group Salesforce Program Director in Farmington Hills, Michigan

The Salesforce Program Director is an essential opportunity, supporting the implementation of the company’s new CRM platform. The individual in this role will assist in achieving company goals and objectives by supplying research and analytics to lead the business and IT to converge on a platform strategy, vision, roadmap, and feature release plan. The successful candidate will be sufficient in developing strong partnerships internally and externally to drive the success of the CRM integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key business and technology stakeholders

  • Work with vendors to achieve platform success

  • Perform internal and external research to gain understanding of client and business needs

  • Define features and capabilities the platform will target and when

  • Facilitate and drive alignment among key business stakeholders

  • Define, track and communicate key platform performance indicators as required to inform this process, and track business results

  • Educate our producers on the platform to motivate utilization, and support producers with selling features/benefits techniques of platform capabilities

  • Ensure continuity of user experience and a high standard of quality throughout the lifecycle of platform development

  • Collaborate with vendors, IT stakeholders, and Kaufman Institute to design technical training materials for retailers and B&W field production teams

  • Provide regular feedback and regularly test the latest builds for quality and completeness from the business perspective

  • Collaborate and coordinate with other product managers and program directors where applicable to understand and manage dependencies.

  • Be the liaison between the business and IT teams to align product and platform architectures and capabilities according to agreed goals for nonfunctional requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong Salesforce declarative development skills, particularly Process Builder & Flow

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with Salesforce, preferably with experience as a lead/senior admin, product manager or similar role

  • 5+ years of project and program management experience with a proven ability to lead and deliver on strategic and tactical business objective

  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to deliver results with large-scale, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to build trusting relationships, credibility, and strong communications skills to influence stakeholder, connect partners to improve project decision-making, which drives business value

  • Consultative approach, including ability to analyze and translate needs into requirements and process flows

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) as well as proven relationship-management skills; ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to all levels, including senior executive levels

  • Capacity to rapidly identify issues, communicate immediately and effectively, and work to resolution
