Headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan we own and operate over 200 manufactured home communities in 24 states.We are presently seeking an individual who will serve as liaison between vendors, community locations, and the corporate office to expedite the accounts payable process.As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will:ulliRespond to vendors’ calls with a professional demeanor and consistently provide excellent customer service./liliResolve vendor issues in a timely and efficient manner./liliReconcile vendor statements./liliManage utility invoices promptly to avoid shutoffs, shutoff notices and late fees./liliExpedite check runs – including, but not limited to, submitting selections spreadsheets and utility invoice selections ($250 and under) to Cash Management./liliReconcile Community open invoices./liliCoordinate the invoiceetty cash/check request/credit card process from communities to payment./liliProvide feedback to Communities and Regional Managers on potential issues./liliConfirm all major invoices are properly accounted for within the system each month./liliComplete month end closing./liliMaintain Petty Cash Schedule./liliWork with Regional Managers and Accounting to perform reclass entries./liliPerform filing duties as needed./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulMinimum Requirements:/div/divdiv class="formRow"div class="formattedContent"ulliA minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience required./liliSome college accounting coursework, preferred; High School diploma or GED, required./liliProficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook./liliGeneral Ledger account code knowledge./lili10-key calculator skills./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus./liliAbility to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment./liliDetail oriented with strong organizational, time management, problem solving, and follow through skills. /li/ulCompensation:This is a full-time opportunity with competitive compensation.
