Staffs to drive achievement of business unit strategies, goals, objectives and key business initiatives through the design and delivery of strategic, tactical and administrative human resources services. Is assigned to larger and more complex business units and serves as a coach and mentor to lower level HR professionals to ensure that actions and recommendations are appropriate and aligned with other business units and DTE goals and objectives.Key Accountabilities•Proactively assesses the human resources implications of the business unit's strategies, goals and objectives, key business initiatives and operational model. Effectively communicates and creates mutual understanding of those implications to business unit leadership.•Works collaboratively with business unit and the Client Relations Team, HR subject matter experts, and other HR staff to design and deliver workforce and talent planning, staffing, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, affirmative action, learning and development, organization development, performance management, and other solutions that address the human resources implications of and are aligned with the business unit's strategies, goals and objectives, key business initiatives and operational model.•Ensures that statutory, regulatory, ethical, contractual and policy compliance are consistent with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, enterprise values and code of conduct, collective bargaining agreements and human resources policies and procedures.•Develops and has working knowledge of DTE Energy's mission, vision, values, competitive environment and key strategies that create competitive market advantage, including, specifically, how the enterprise makes money and the business language of the enterprise.•Develops and has working knowledge of the assigned business unit's competitive environment, strategies, goals and objectives, key business in
