The Discipline Administrator provides organizational and administrative and support for our Discipline Directors, Design Directors, Director of Sustainability. This position can be located in our Detroit, Ann Arbor, Washington, Los Angeles, or Phoenix office.Working with us, you will:•Schedule meetings/events and provide assistance with travel.•Provide administrative support for initiatives.•Develop website content, brochures/ collateral, e-blasts, sales tools, for use by firm communications team.•Manage Contractor Advisory Board and Contractor Perspectives activities (logistics, support content development, attendee participation, production/dissemination of deliverables w/corporate communications team).•Support and facilitate thought leadership initiatives by individuals in these groups.•Work with firm communications team to communicate and coordinate initiatives and efforts lead by the groups noted above.•Organize and facilitate Discipline and Design Director team meetings.•Coordinate select multi-office and national/international initiatives.•Prepare reports summarizing initiatives.•Monitor industry trends and collects market intelligence on competitors.•Support TIP research efforts and initiatives.•Support Director of Sustainability initiatives such as collecting 2030 Commitment data.An ideal candidate has:•Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as organizational and problem-solving skills.•The ability to think creatively and strategically.•The ability to balance priorities, multi-task and work independently (self-motivated), yet collaboratively, as a member of the marketing and corporate practice teams.•The ability to communicate well with a variety of groups and individuals.•Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe InDesign CS6, Acrobat, and Deltek Vision.•Knowledge of the Architecture or Engineering market (highly preferred).•Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as organizational and problem-solving skills.SmithGroupJJR offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefit package, including 401(k) and continuing educational reimbursement.
