Your Mission:

In this role, you will be responsible for crafting inspiring copy in our fun-spirited brand voice for all types of communication and advertising materials. This position leads brand consistency, proofreading all department creative, maintaining product information and ensuring consistency across all mediums. This position requires a unique combination of creativity and quality control across assignments.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Develop copy that communicates a differentiated brand tone of voice across all mediums, including, but not limited to, store signage and POP, social media, email and digital marketing.

  • Write sharp, concise copy that is aspirational and motivates action.

  • Create concepts that are intriguing, drive response, and increase click-through rates.

  • Create product positioning, product names & descriptions that are both compelling to consumers and aligned with our strategy.

  • Final proofing and approval of text that is placed in a layout, ensuring proper grammar, spelling and punctuation for all brand communications.

  • Contributes to brand standards documentation. Maintain library of product descriptions and other brand terms and information.

  • Identify trends and seek buzz-friendly content through multiple marketing channels and audiences.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, advertising, communication or journalism.

  • Minimum of three years writing experience in marketing preferably in an agency or in-house environment.

  • Exceptional ability to write, edit and proofread copy.

  • Strong collaboration and brainstorming skills with a cross-functional team including designers, brand managers and internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent creative thinking skills and the ability to apply those skills in an advertising copywriting practice.

  • Evidence of superior knowledge in writing for all social media sites and SEO.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks. Ability to be responsive and flexible to complete responsibilities on short notice.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop preferred.

  • Sound understanding of graphic design and a keen appreciation of the interplay between textual and visual elements.

  • Ability to interact effectively with various levels of management and other departments and comfortably present concepts.

  • Ability to work beyond traditional office hours when required by project demands.
