buSummary/u/biThe Business Development Specialist is responsible for generating sales qualified leads and advancing opportunities by identifying, prospecting, and advancing key conversations within their assigned market. Additionally, interaction with customers, channel partners and state programs is expected. The Business Development Specialist is expected to generate leads, coordinate conversations with key prospects and set meetings that lead to revenue opportunities and work in conjunction with marketing, sales, account management, finance, legal, technical services, and support/implementation services. Duties may include participating in trade shows, conducting webinars, and interacting and supporting current Appriss customers and prospects at every level. This position carries a productivity related quota tied to achieving revenue goals.
