DXC Technology Business Development Manager - HCM in Detroit, Michigan

Summary of Position:

A Business Development Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of new business in an assigned geographic territory, and revenue growth in current clients. New sales to both audiences are developed through direct sales and marketing activities, professional networks, and internal peer networks using a structured team sales methodology.

The Business Development Manager will be expected to build upon a network of lead generators in order to identify opportunities and drive new prospect introductions. A Business Development Manager will spend their time focused on selling Tribridge's HCM solutions and identifying opportunities for Tribridge solutions including ERP, CRM, custom applications, SharePoint development, and IT security services. The Business Development Manager reports to the Vice President of Sales

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Sales

  • Prospecting for new business opportunities

  • Networking within the business community

  • Target list management

  • Vertical Industry Selling

  • Preparing for sales calls, including coordination of the team selling effort

  • Creating and delivering sales presentations

  • Direct follow-up and managing on-going follow up with prospects

  • Tracking activity and results in the CRM System

Indirect Sales

  • Preparing for and participating in sales meetings

  • Participating in business development events

  • Assisting with marketing campaigns

  • Participating in events to strengthen Tribridge's key business partner relationships

  • Actively managing and increasing Tribridge's market awareness

Minimum Requirements – Education, Skill & Abilities:

  • Four year degree, Advanced degree(s) a plus

  • 5 or more years’ experience in solution selling of HCM / HRIS software or IT consulting services sales (NOT infrastructure or hardware)

  • Prior experience selling or administrating Tier 1 Talent Management, Learning Content, HCM, or HRIS software required (includes CSOD, SuccessFactors, Taleo, ADP, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software, Workday, or similar)

  • Must have prior experience selling solutions with an average price over $100K

  • Must have experience and/or expert knowledge of the marketplace in the assigned territory with an established network of contacts with C-suite and executives and HR Leaders in the territory

  • Professional, assertive, and skilled in forming new relationships in their territory

  • Proven presentation, proposal development, and writing skills

  • Proven record of exceeding quota

  • Prior experience using a CRM system to manage a pipeline

  • Must be willing to work closely with other office sales teams

  • Valid Driver’s License required
