Aerotek Powertrain Technologist in Dearborn, Michigan


The Powertrain technologist will work with development engineers to conduct and/or arrange a wide variety of nonprocedural and complex tests, develop test plans, obtain data, perform preliminary analysis and make recommendations to resolve issues. Perform powertrain calibration development and validation tasks and report results in validation documents.

Perform basic engineering tasks: - Design and develop test plans, procedures, content and timing. - Aid engineers in development of new methods, instrumentation, procedures. - Routinely review workgroup practices to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements to local supervision. Oversee maintenance of test vehicles. Coordinate and track updates of test vehicles including instrumentation and initial build. Support in-territory test and development trips, arrange vehicle transportation.
