Description:
Technical Product Manager / Product Owner for In-Vehicle Infotainment & Connectivity Features
Lead a cross functional team in the development of next-generation Infotainment software features from conception to system release
Track / manage the software development and implementation of the core specifications by working with the software development and quality assurance teams
Analyze core specifications and decompose requirements into consumable work tasks for developers and testers
Ensure teams are aware of key project milestones and deliveries
Evaluate incoming feature requests and identify future resource needs based on these requests
Quantify feature release quality by evaluating projected software defect rate, number of open defects, etc.
Work with software development partners on planning, execution, release, and integration of third-party software components
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in EE, Computer Science, or related engineering degree
4+ years of experience in designing and releasing Infotainment products, such as developing functional use cases, technical requirements, and / or test cases
2+ years of experience project management in the Infotainment or Automotive industry with working knowledge of Agile software development processes (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, etc.
Software development or technical program management experience
Working knowledge of C/C++ or Python, Testing / QA experience
Strong project management skills
Strong requirements management skills
Excellent communications skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and with cross-functional global teams
Familiarity with the technical implementation details of Infotainment products / systems
Have working knowledge and interest in Infotainment and Electric Vehicle features
Have experience in Infotainment system analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of vehicle issues
