What you’ll be able to do:

The Ford Credit Management Information Systems (MIS) department is experiencing increased demand for its services and at the same time evolving from a regional Enterprise Data Warehouse to a common Global Data Warehouse. MIS responsibilities include:

  • Development and support for the Enterprise Data Warehouse and the Global Data Warehouse

  • Providing integrated data services by loading data from multiple regions, applications and domains into one common format

  • Supporting data for Regulatory reporting and analytics that will enable data-driven decisions to create a competitive advantage for the company

  • Become part of a global team, contribute to Ford Credit’s migration to a GDW and to learn various aspects of the Ford Credit business and IT processes

  • Be a part of a Product Driven Organization (PDO) Expedition product team and collaborate with a Product Owner, Product Manager, Anchor and Software Engineers

  • Work with Business teams to understand requirements for PDO Backlog features and deliver Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions with high business value using Agile

  • Assist with analyzing commonality in EDW/GDW information models and identify needs for ETL

  • Contribute to the migration from DataStage to Informatica Power Center, MDM/IDQ, and EDC

  • Work with Data Architects (DAs) to define, build and modify EDW/GDW data models

  • Participate in PDO product team ceremonies such as Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Demo Days and Release Planning

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering

  • 7+ years of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) development experience with IBM Info Sphere DataStage and/or Informatica Power Center

  • 7+ years of experience in ETL development with Teradata

  • 7+ years of AutoSys' scheduling and Unix Shell scripting experience

  • 7+ years of SQL experience involving complex queries

  • 7+ years of analytical experience of complex applications and data relationships

Our preferred requirements:

  • Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a product team

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong drive for results and ability to work independently

  • Proven commitment to quality and project timing

  • Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans

  • Familiarity with master data management concepts

  • Familiarity with data quality and data cleansing concepts

  • Familiarity with data catalog concepts such as data lineage, data profiling and relationships

  • Knowledge and experience with DB2/SQL, FTP, Connect Direct

  • Experience with mainframe languages/tools including COBOL, JCL, CA7

  • Ford Credit experience a plus
