Acrisure LLC Senior Insurance Account Manager (The Campbell Group) in Caledonia, Michigan

Summary: This position will have primary account responsibility for policy maintenance and service of an assigned portion of accounts. The individual is expected to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to those clients as well as prospective clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Explore all opportunities for exemplary service, working to maximize client/account retention, including conducting mid-term (or quarterly) client review; prepare stewardship report; explore opportunities for risk management; conduct website review; attend in-person client visit, participate in renewal strategy discussions and assist with or oversee presentation preparation and other client correspondence,

  • Responsible for a book of business not otherwise assigned to a producer,

  • Confirm appropriate coverage has been placed or at least offered/recommended. If offered/recommended coverage has been rejected, ensure appropriate documentation is obtained,

  • Oversee renewal process, change request, and endorsement process according to agency guidelines by delegating to appropriate team member,

  • Receive, review and document all client and underwriter correspondence (unless delegated to appropriate team member) in agency management system, according to agency guidelines,

  • Review follow up (pending) list on a daily basis and take appropriate action,

  • Ensure proper coding of agency commission, producer commission, service structure and agency structure (the ?service and billing tab?; review and take appropriate action (delegate, involve producer, contact accounting department, etc.)on all account receivable items according to agency guidelines,

  • Oversee the cancellation process and (potential) missed expiration report according to agency guidelines,

  • Demonstrate (by your personal example) a strong, positive, team-oriented approach with your interactions with others, and assist in the training of other employees at the Manager?s request.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or recognized equivalent, required

  • College degree preferred

  • Possess and maintain active P & C License(s) as well as professional insurance designations such as CIC and/or CPCU

  • Working knowledge of commercial insurance with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Computer Skills:

  • Demonstrated strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Knowledge of Agency Management Systems.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task and be efficient with excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to effectively work with others

  • Must have a high level of problem-solving skills

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to effectively work with a large variety of personalities

  • Work is done in an air-conditioned, non-smoking office

  • Work stations are cubicles with moderately high sides

  • Travel is not common however there may be some limited travel required, typically less than 25%.
