Business HR Manager-Brand Strategy. Product Marketing

Function Overview:

Whirlpool is seeking a Business HR Manager to support the Product Marketing and Brand & Strategy teams in the North America Region (NAR), Whirlpool’s largest (Profit and Loss) P&L.

This HR leader will be the strategic Human Resources Business Partner for team of 350 employees. You will be responsible for developing and executing organizational strategies that align structure, culture and talent with business goals while providing coaching to people leaders.

There is plenty of variety in this role. Today, you will work on driving organizational effectiveness to ensure a “fit for purpose” structure. Tomorrow, you might be identifying the future leadership pipeline and partnering with leaders to identify appropriate development actions. Next you may build out engagement plans to increase team effectiveness… the possibilities are endless.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to lead and drive our people excellence - our strategy to enable the Product and Brand teams to achieve their deliverables and positively impact Whirlpool’s North America business

  • Drive business strategy and change, inclusive of talent strategies to support the business needs

  • Consult with the leadership teams and North America Region (NAR) Commercial Senior HR Director to proactively interpret and leverage data to draw insights, diagnose and solve talent challenges

  • Coach employees and people leaders

  • Leverage HR Center of Excellence (COE) to drive solutions for business and organizational challenges

  • Partner with HR operations to enable two-way information sharing on business’s needs and ensure positive business outcomes

  • Lead Strategic Workforce Planning and drive our Inclusion & Diversity strategy in the Product and Brand teams

  • Participate in completing special projects as assigned in HR and/or business

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 + years of experience in Human Resources

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree or MBA

  • Experience in partnering with senior level business executives

  • Business Acumen: Uses extensive knowledge and insight about the business to fully engage in business discussions and lead the People Excellence strategy to improve talent and business outcomes

  • Strategic Partnership: Develops effective relationships with clients by building trust, leveraging networks, applying HR expertise, and measuring and ensuring business results

  • Organizational Effectiveness: Creates an effective and strong organization by utilizing organizational diagnosis tools, leveraging organization design principles, and building organization capabilities in line with Whirlpool’s core values to win against the competition

  • Data-driven Insights: Applies data analytics and judgment to draw insights that inform business decision making

  • Coach: Uses coaching and influencing skills to successfully drive change and leaders’ ownership and accountability

  • Change Champion: Partners to lead and sustain change creating an agile and responsive organization
