Our client in Mid-Michigan is looking for an experienced IT Workstation Technician to join their Team!

In this roll you will be an integral part of a growing IT team and assist in troubleshooting and fixing various computer hardware, software/OS and application issues.

Main responsibilities include:

• Analyzing computer hardware problems, rectifying them, servicing and replacing parts when necessary.

• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders.

• Installing software, demonstrating its usage and troubleshooting when users are faced with problems.

• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance while taking the end users schedule into consideration.

• Updating system software/licensing when required.

• Setting up and solving problems with computer network systems, cabling and wireless networks.

• Configuring corporate imaged PC's, email, etc.

• Antivirus software installation, reporting new virus files and malware removal.

• Maintaining back up files. Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.

• Servicing and maintaining computer related equipment such as printers, projectors, web cameras and scanners

  Requirements:

• Proven experience as IT Technician or PC Maintenance Tech

• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills

• Excellent communication ability

• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills

• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and network.

• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles

• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
