Overview:

Public Title: Test and Validation Lead Engineer (TVLE)

The ADAS Test and Validation group is continuing to build and strengthen its core competences with the addition of a highly motivated and technically skilled Test and Validation Lead Engineer. The Test & Validation Lead Engineer (TVLE) is end to end responsible for the L2 system validation testing from definition through production release validation. He\she leads and coordinates all domain test activities from planning until test completion. The TVLE is the overall leader for all validation related testing on the project. The ADAS Test group is involved in vehicle and component integration, development & testing of long and short range Radar, Camera vision systems, LIDAR and related advanced vehicle sensing components. We are currently developing Full Speed Range Adaptive Cruise Controls, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Forward Object Detection and Collision Mitigation Systems.

Core Responsibilities:

• Creates and releases the overall project test strategy (including other disciplines). Responsible to consolidate, monitor and drive other disciplines to ensure on time execution of test related activities (coordination of all validation schedules).

• Aligns all domain test schedules and consolidates into overall project test schedule. Maintains throughout the project.

• Organizes the definition of regression strategies with the domain test managers and ensures necessary test coverage.

• Monitors and reports the overall project test status including internal and customer level tests

• Monitors and reports linking of test cases to technical requirements. Drives domains as needed for on time completion

• Actively manages test progress including driving for solutions and ensuring successful on time execution

• Serves as primary interface (internal & customer) for project test related matters

• Prepares the Test & Validation product release recommendation including project test report

• Responsible contact for all tasks within the organization towards the validation and vehicle application within the project

• Agreement of necessary milestones and deliveries within the project team towards other stakeholders as well as towards the customer

• Development of efficient and effective approach together with all other involved stakeholders within the projects

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of Test and Validation Experience in the automotive industry (ex. SW, Product, Vehicle, Algorithm, HW Testing)

• Managed projects as Validation responsible

• Experience with Automotive Electronic/Electromechanical Products

• Good communication skills within the team, internal & external customers a must

• Must be willing to travel to support internal and external customers

• Must be willing to work off­site for some assignments

• Great (English) oral and written communication skills

• Able to work in a team environment and be flexible with changing priorities

• Able to multi¬task to meet project timing (time management skills)

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools (Microsoft Project) and other organizational tools

• Work independently with little to no supervision to meet tight deadlines

• Good logical problem solver; good attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Test and Validation Experience (ex. SW, Product, Vehicle, Algorithm, HW Testing)

• Managed multiple projects in parallel as the main Validation responsible/interface

• Experience with Automotive Electronic/Electromechanical Products

• Good communication skills within the team, internal & external customers a must

• Must be willing to travel to support internal and external customers

• Must be willing to work off­site for some assignments

• Excellent (English) oral and written communication skills

• Able to work in a team environment and be flexible with changing
