divForeign Exchange Corporate Trader IIbrA Foreign Exchange (FX) Corporate Trader II is primarily responsible for maintaining Comerica Bank's foreign exchange relationships with a wide range of customers that may include small, medium, and large market-sized clients (Retail, Corporate, and WM). This position will actively and independently manage a defined book of business, developing new sales opportunities from both existing bank clients and prospects that have significant business potential and complexity. Within this context, the position will also be responsible for structuring appropriate customized FX risk management products and services under the guidelines of Global Capital Markets policies to generate FX fee income commensurate with credit, market, and pricing model risks customized to each client in conjunction with the overall bank relationship manager (RM). The position also requires an understanding of corporate balance sheet management and risk analytics with a strong capability to interpret economic data for clients. Furthermore, this position is structured within a team of FX sales and trading specialists, requiring a strong skillset to work closely with others, providing a high-touch service that requires a great deal of accuracy./divdivbrPosition Responsibilities:/divulliQuote FX pricing to bank clients that upon acceptance commits the bank to off-balance sheet risks in compliance with the Global Capital Markets (GCM) Discretion Operating Standards Policy./liliAssist GCM senior corporate traders in the sales and trading of all customer related Foreign Exchange (FX) products along with structuring risk management strategiesrograms to assist clients in mitigating their company's FX risks (involving FX Forwards, FX Options, FX Loans, etc.)./liliActively manage a defined and prospective base of clients to generate new business and to maximize non-interest income (NII) commensurate with the bank's risk appetite./liliAssist other FX staff with business development efforts, while also developing knowledge of other GCM products (interest rate and energy) to provide cross-sell opportunities within GCM./liliMaintain risk control of customer FX positions within established policies./liliDevelop an expertise in all trading room systems, operations, and accounting system requirements./liliDevelop an expertise in all related GCM back-office and middle-office operational requirements./liliTake a strong interest in being a self-starter when it comes to training and education for future professional development through industry and bank learning educational opportunities./liliDirect collaboration with RM's within your coverage area for training and new business development for FX./liliMaintain a high level of accuracy for all trades to limit bank's exposure due to input error.brAdhere to bank's overall goals toward credit policies and risk management, keeping records up to date./liliAdhere to the bank's know your Customer (KYC) and Anti money Laundering (AML) goals and policies per established Risk Discretion policies./liliMaintain and report risk controls, credit controls, error resolution, etc./liliGeneral administrative duties, as needed./li/uldivAdditional information:brGCM - FX engages in the following documentation and systems: FX Master and ISDA documentation, US regulatory compliance documentation (ECP, GMEI), recap interpretation and credit approval requirements, foreign exchange markets, foreign exchange payments, KYC, AML, ECIS knowledge, Spectrum, Reuters, Comerica eFX, FX pricing, and transaction system input.
