div bSHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE./bThis position is part of our Advanced Safety and User Experience segment (ASUX) and our Connected Services (ACS) business unit.bSummary:/bThe Engineering Technician is responsible for installing and removing Vehicle Data Recorders (VDR) in customer and other test vehicles. This is an entry-level position that has the potential to grow into a Project Engineer/Data Analyst role.bResponsibilities and Duties:/bulliAssist in Supplier Management and assist engineers with product tests/liliTrack and maintain VDR functionalityulliEnsure VDR's are functioning and recording data/liliEnsure that the VDR's remain up to date with current software and firmware levels/liliMaintain all components of VDR system/liliInstallations and de-installations, as necessary/liliMaintain hardware inventory/liliRespond to all VDR diagnostic codes that are generated from the customer fleet/li/ul/liliReview customer data to verify correctness, completeness, and data fidelity/liliWork with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information/liliResearch, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles/liliProvide feedback to engineers on customer problems and requests/li/ulbBasic Qualifications:/bulliAssociate's Degree in Engineering Technology (Mechanical or Electrical), Bachelor's Degree preferred/liliValid Driver's License required/li/ulbHighly Desired Qualifications:/bulliMicrosoft Office skills- Intermediate/liliStrong written and oral communication skills.
