LLamasoft deploys decision solutions through enterprise ready apps, custom apps, and an extensible no-code App Studio.The Role:This full-time position will challenge you, as a Software Engineer, to work with the simulation solver team to design and implement cutting edge supply chain modeling software.As a software engineer on our Simulation team, you will be part of the Applied Research division, building simulation solutions for all aspects of the supply chain from production to inventory to transportation. For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic software engineer to work closely with your peer engineers, researchers, consultants, and other LLamasoft software development teams to design and implement powerful, useful, and extensible software.Our team values collaboration and ensuring that all team members have their ideas heard and respected as equals, in an inclusive and diverse environment that fosters personal and professional development.The Simulation team is implementing the world's fastest and most robust supply chain simulation, focusing on modeling the real world's business logic in an efficient, scalable, and reliable manner. They are innovating with new optimization integrations, incorporating machine learning techniques, and generating useful information to provide the end-user with the information and analytics needed to make well-informed decisions.Major Responsibilities:and#8226;A software engineer working on .NET libraries implementing behaviors of real-world supply chains in C#and#8226;Design, implement, test, and review via Git Flow and Kanban-lite methodologiesand#8226;Take ownership of behavior correctness and completeness via effective communication with business analysts, engineers, and researchersand#8226;Interact with other teams when needed to ensure problem is solved at correct place in organizationand#8226;Participate in 'everyone does DevOps' via understanding Jenkins CI/CD build, xUnit tests, and other infrastructureand#8226;Refine skills by defining and executing personal development plan which feeds back into self and organizationRequired Qualifications:and#8226;Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering, mathematics, or a related field with some technical experience in software developmentand#8226;A strong desire to write efficient, readable, testable software through individual and collaborative contributionand#8226;Familiarity of .NET APIsand#8226;Understanding of concurrency, parallelism, and object lifetimeand#8226;Excellent understanding of O-O principles, familiarity with functional programmingand#8226;Strong understanding of common design patterns in O-O softwareand#8226;Strong problem-solving skills along with written and verbal communication skills.and#8226;Customer- and quality-focused with excellent attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:and#8226;Git / GitHub / JIRAand#8226;xUnit (or similar)and#8226;Jenkins / Jenkins Pipeline / Groovyand#8226;SQL and SQL Serverand#8226;RESTful API Developmentand#8226;C#an
