Job Description:
Job Summary:
The purpose of the Digital intern is to obtain the knowledge and skill set necessary to assist professional staff with providing development assistance in web and mobile application development to Little Caesars and Blue Line Distribution. The intern(s) will work closely with a mentor, team and/or IT management to provide support to various store applications. The IT intern will be assigned to the following department:
- Digital
Possible Project this intern can work on:
Implementing customer-facing feature on the Little Caesars Android/IOS app
Assisting full-time colleagues with small changes, fixes and enhancements on the Android/IOS app to become acclimated to the development environment
Implementing a crew-facing feature on the Little Caesars store system
Implementing a customer-facing feature on the Little Caesars online ordering website
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Junior level class standing or above and actively enrolled.
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Computer Science or Information Technology.
Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
Proven ability to function in a team environment, supporting team members when needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to be flexible and responsive.
Demonstrated initiative in learning new skills outside of classwork.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Programming experience in any of the following technologies:
Java or Kotlin
Switft
HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Experience making API Calls
JavaScript library to create single page apps such as React or Angular
Mobile development including Android and iOS native applications and hybrid applications
Software development using .Net, Java or Dart
Work Conditions:
This position requires the ability to lift and carry computer equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and be flexible to work in small spaces (i.e., under desks, etc.).
Works in a normal office environment.
